Leigh is Vice Chairman of the Australian Digital Commerce Association (ADCA) and Chair of the Initial Coin Offering (ICO) Industry Working Group. Leigh worked for seven years at a boutique Wealth Management firm as an Investment Advisor and Designated Trading Representative (DTR). Leigh holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Communications from the University of Western Australia and Fintech Certification from MIT.
Neel has extensive experience within capital markets and in designing and creating trading and analytics software. He worked as a researcher on capital markets and financial intermediation at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York under Bank president Tim Geithner. Neel then moved to the hedge fund industry, developing risk analytics platforms and algorithmic trading solutions focused on commodities and equities. Neel has co-authored widely cited academic papers on systemic risk and the Treasury market, and holds degrees in economics and political science from Columbia University and MIT.
Mike is an expert in cryptography and machine learning and has worked on a diverse set of problems including weather prediction, consensus protocols, and mesh networking at several Boston and San Francisco-based companies. Mike became interested in distributed consensus systems in 2010 and was a member of the first weekly Bitcoin discussion group in the world, which still meets today in New Hampshire. Mike studied math and physics at the University of Florida.
Scott oversees all compliance and operations functions for DigitalX. Scott is a highly seasoned operations professional and Regulatory Compliance Specialist, with extensive experience in building, managing, and maintaining compliance programs for regulated financial services companies. Scott has over 20 years of financial services industry experience, with a concentration in BSA/AML, OFAC and Corporate Compliance for 15 of those years. Prior to joining DigitalX, Scott’s roles included Director of Regulatory Compliance for Bitnet Technologies, a bitcoin startup and Senior Manager with Citigroup AML Operations. Scott has also served in various senior compliance roles at Merrill Lynch, RBC Wealth Management and MetLife, and has spent time as a regulator with FINRA.
David most recently worked and consulted in corporate innovation roles for companies in the energy and insurance sectors. Prior to this, he worked in stockbroking and wealth management with a focus on wholesale and retail capital raisings. He went on to start two digital financial services businesses and is co-organiser of Fintech Perth – a community of finance industry startups in WA. His introduction to cryptocurrencies was in 2015, in a hackathon team that built a remittence prototype using Ripple. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.), Finance & Economics from the University of Western Australia
Steven is an experienced corporate advisor, specialising in deal structuring, due diligence, M&A transactions, restructuring and recapitalisations of ASX listed companies. Steven has advised on both domestic and cross border transactions in the technology sector.
Steven holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in accounting, from Latrobe University and he is also RG146 certified to provide general financial advice.
Mr Hicks is a Partner of Steinepreis Paganin Lawyers & Consultants with over 15 years' experience advising companies, both public and private, on matters relating to corporate governance, capital raisings and mergers and acquisitions, as well as general commercial and strategic legal advice. He acts for a number of ASX listed companies.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr Hicks has served on the Board of Governors of the University of Notre Dame Australia for 14 years and is a member of the University's Finance, Audit and Risk Committee and the Fremantle Law School Advisory Board.
Mr Hicks holds a Bachelor of Business (Management) and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Notre Dame Australia as well as a Graduate Diploma in Company Secretarial Practice from Chartered Secretaries Australia (now the Governance Institute). He is also a Chartered Secretary. Mr Hicks is not a director of any other ASX listed company.

Mr Peter Rubinstein has over 20 years’ experience in early stage technology commercialisation through to public listings on the ASX. He is a lawyer by training, having worked at one of the large national firms prior to moving in house at Montech, the commercial arm of Monash University. Mr Rubinstein has had significant exposure to the creation, launch and management of a diverse range of technology companies including in biotech, digital payments and renewable energy. Peter is also Chairman of EasyPark ANZ an early adopter in the “Smart City” opportunities for digital parking.
Mr Sam Lee is the founder and CEO of Blockchain Global Ltd. Blockchain Global is a profitable Blockchain technology company with offices in Melbourne, New York, Kobe, Shanghai and Dalian. Since incorporation, Blockchain Global has, through its corporate accelerator program, made over 50 investments in companies leveraging Blockchain technology. Mr Lee is a frequent interviewee on CNBC, BBC and Sky News and a panellist at the World Economic Forum, as well as at numerous Blockchain summits.
